Well, this past week I went from being the wanna be part time housewife to the unexpected full time housewife. I can't decide if I should be devastated or thrilled about my job loss. I say thrilled because there are few projects I would like to try my hand at such as gardening and sewing. Both of which, scare the hell out of me. I mean, what if I sew my fingers together or worse yet kill all the vegetation? Will my husband still think I'm cute and clever once I destroy the backyard? Quite honestly, how long will he support my mishaps?
Another thought to ponder, is how will I do as the new June Cleaver? I have found myself thinking, what would a 50's housewife do. Really, I have no idea what that means, but I have been thinking it. I also have a cute apron for cooking. I'm halfway there, don't you think? On the other hand, I probably won't be a really successful June Cleaver, since I really enjoy drinking and swearing.
Oh dear Lord, I am going to need to find a job rather quickly, before I start saying, "Ward, I'm very worried about the Beaver."
